2020 Great Conjunction — III
A moonlit view of the Great Conjunction as Saturn and Jupiter settled into the saddle between Agassiz' and Humphrey's Peaks north of Flagstaff, Arizona. The planets are separated by just a third the diameter of the moon at this point on December 20th. The Galilean Moons are visible beside Jupiter—from upper left to lower right: Callisto, Ganymede (top left) and Io, Europa (bottom right)
